Parker's 540P hose for water is an excellent transfer hose for water because of the FDA compliant polyethylene core tube. With the non-leaching, plasticizer free polyethylene core tube, this thermoplastic hose is used in the food and beverage industry for the transfer of CO2 in fountain drink machines. A more industrial application is found in two part foam insulation and adhesive applications because the low-moisture permeability of the core tube minimizes moisture contamination of the media.
