Ultra High Pressure TOUGHJACKET™ Hose

Parflex High Pressure TOUGHJACKET (TJ) waterblast hoses, designed to eliminate the need for an additional PVC cover and reduce the hose weight by up to 16%, allow for ease of handling, improved productivity, reduced operator fatigue and the elimination of PVC cover pull out from the collar which in turn, delivers a hose with a longer service life than traditional water jetting hoses. One of the hose features that contributes to the longer service is the special Parker-formulated polyurethane jacket. Testing results of TJ hoses exceed the abrasion resistance and durability of standard PVC covered assemblies by more than 12 times. The cover also reduces friction and drag, which in turn, increases operator safety.

Additional safety features of TOUGHJACKET high pressure hoses is the built-in ColorGard™ technology with contrasting colors. The primary hose jacket is a different color than the abrasion resistant WJTA compliant colored outer jacket. If the hose is compromised from abrasion, the operator can visually see the damage by seeing the contrasting underlying primary hose color of the outer hose jacket. Parker is the only manufacturer with ColorGard to provide easy visualization identification of abrasion issues, allowing for efficient inspections and reduced unscheduled downtime.
