Parker's 2-position, 3-way spool type shuttle valve with spring offset are available with 5 and 10 bar standard spring options and feature internal pilot operation to shift flow paths from the “normal” spring biased spool position. These shuttle valves can handle flows up to 90 lpm (24 gpm) and 420 bar (6000 psi) while providing precise flow control for sequencing or pressuring sensing applications within various mobile or industrial markets.

Additional Technical Insight:
Can be used for a variety of switching functions but the main application is for motor brake release at 5 bar or 10 bar motor inlet pressure, to prevent inadvertant motor movement.
The spring applied brake is drained to tank through the valve when it needs to be applied.
