The PR-1 Series is a 1/4 inch PTFE fluoropolymer forward pressure regulator that is designed for use in ultra-high purity (UHP), DI water, and aggressive gas and liquid handling systems, including those used in semiconductor manufacturing and clean-area operations. It’s non-relieving design requires a 10 psi differential across the valve, thus ensuring steady-state pressure control in fluid handling systems up to 120 psig.

The PR-1 utilizes a machined PFA body with a precision-machined seat and diaphragm sealing area for superior leak integrity and chemical resistance. The large diaphragm allows for greater sensitivity to changes upstream, preventing the effects of pressure surges being transferred downstream. Its stainless steel spring reduces the effects of corrosive environments and ensures compatibility with a wide range of aggressive process media.

For increased flexibility, the PR-1 Series can be fitted with a variety of port configurations, including FNPT and Parflare tube fittings. Parflare fittings reduce assembly time and installation costs, while ensuring a leak-tight seal for reliability in applications where cleanliness is critical.

The tongue and groove seal of the PR-1 Series regulator ensure a positive diaphragm to body seal, which isolates process media from the atmosphere and provides added protection for the spring and adjusting screw. Multiple secondary pressure range options are available to meet the unique requirements of customers’ systems.
