The Parker PMD Micro Dryer provides a constant outlet dewpoint in accordance with ISO8573-1 class 2 for water vapour. The ultra small adsorption dryer can be used for low flow applications requiring a -40°C pressure dewpoint at a maximum flow rate of 0.21 m³/h @ 7 barg (0.12 cfm @ 102 psig).
The constant -40°C pressure dewpoint provided by the PMD Micro Dryer provides an outlet dewpoint which inhibits the growth of micro-organisms (allowing their efficient reduction using filtration).
The extremely small footprint of the PMD unit makes it ideal for equipment integration.
Using clean, dry purge air for regeneration, this eliminates any risk of damage to the adsorption bed or re-contamination of the downstream compressed air. No heat is used for regeneration, therefore no insulation is required, this eliminates any potential loss of dewpoint on column changeover, due to inefficient cool down.
Features
• Constant outlet dewpoint in accordance with ISO8573-1 class 2 for water vapour
• Outlet pressure dewpoint down to -40°C
• Extremely small footprint
• Inhibits the growth of micro-organisms
• Fitted with a solid state electronic controller
Sizing and Selection
To ensure quoted air purity performance is met, a compressed air dryer must be sized correctly for minimum operating pressure, maximum inlet temperature and maximum inlet flow rate using the correction factors found in the Product Information Sheet.
